Propane is safe. Whether delivered by pipeline, rail, or over-the-road, all propane transportation is regulated under the authority of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) through the agency’s stringent Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations.
Cost-effective
Propane burns cleaner, delivering more BTUs, resulting in higher efficiency. Propane furnaces can be up to 95% more efficient, and propane water heaters can reach 98% efficiency. Higher efficiency saves you money!
Versatile
Almost any appliance in and around your home can be powered by propane, from space heaters to efficient fireplaces, stoves, ovens, cooktops, and even clothing washers and dryers.
Clean & Green
Propane burns significantly more cleanly than other fossil fuels. It doesn’t spill, pool, or leave a residue. Propane emits fewer greenhouse gases, less than half the amount associated with electricity, and has far less impact to the environment than coal-powered electricity. According to the US EPA, propane grills are over 100 times more environmentally friendly than charcoal grills!
